    New Mower - John Deere

My son, will be 10 years old next month, says he is ready to take over cutting the grass. I am all for it, so I am going to get a new mower to make sure he is able to do it.

I ran across this mower at Lowes or Home Depot:

I really like the casters on the front thinking it may make it easier for him to make turns without having to lift the front of the mower.  Has anyone ever used a mower wit casters on the front?

Re: New Mower - John Deere

I broke down and bought it today. I tried to crank the old one yesterday, and it wouldn't fire after about five or six pulls. That was good enough for me.

I have only cut with it once, but it did a great job. It mulches much better than anything I have ever used before. The casters on the front make it much more maneuverable.
